Integrity and Discipline-
(the short version)
I awake to command light and benevolent action.
A mighty hour of service, of duty.
Hoofs pounding. Tick tock goes the clock. Does it stop?
Somewhere to be and something to do,
I’m sure of it!
Cloaked in armor, protected and safe.
Showing no emotion.
I Know my way.
I Know I can save the day.
A calling of fate, of destiny’s dream awake.
Going somewhere I presume.
Must be something valiant to do.
A cause worth serving to, some way to claim the day!
What if I loosen the reigns, let go a little bit, and let my stead
lead the way?
How can I then seize the day?
What if there was nothing to do?
I get a grip on the moment.
Must be someone to save!
I loosen, let go, and surrender.
I source truth, and I keep my eyes on the target.
Ha ha.
Warrior wisdom sits in these bones.
I soften again.
Upon the protective armor, protecting the tenderness of my heart.
I am cloaked in flowers, lilys they say.
Armorous, amourous, Fleur du lis
A flower of the light. Feminine delight.
She’s beautiful. My mind wanders.
She’s complex and confusing
yet oh so amusing.
I wear her, as art. Her inner sensitivity expressed on me. is me.
A golden apparition of prayers of peace.
She is my beloved dreamer.
I, a warrior of the day.
She listens to nature’s soundscapes and sees colors in motion.
A painting paints itself, rolling into the moment, like the tide rolls in.
Ever present, with nowhere to go. Right here. Right now.
All time, beautiful and sublime.
A journey of getting no where, going somewhere, and being right there.
What a wild ride.
I lasso the sands of time.
Like an hour glass turned upside down.
Now do it again. Or lay it on its side?
What do you see?
A dream or reality? Past or future?
Can the present just be?
Time to take a break from this amorous lovescape
of loving so much, the fierceness in the heart, of driving me towards a destination
of salvation, of Love’s claim. A proclimation!
Of a life lived of loving and art.
I pull back on the reigns.
I Take a break from the warring of Love’s dreamscape.
I lays claim on my own heart,
I take off my armor,
Softens to swirling in the mystery of the great infinite love.
A Fleur du lis
how silly is this me?

Hi Willy. Well aren't you just a big ball of talent! My favorites: Hannibal-your color choices on the Ford are D-lish... and Coffee Shop Musing #5 is absolute perfection. I love your work and it has really inspired me to dig a little deeper. Hope your doing well and getting in some riding before the weather turns. xo
